Your Responsibilities:
Design, implement, and maintain core network infrastructure, mainly using Cisco technologies.
Manage and optimize routing protocols for efficient traffic flow within the network and on the internet.
Configure, troubleshoot, and optimize optical networks for high-speed data transmission.
Oversee transit and international connectivity to ensure reliable and cost-effective internet access for the customers.
Work closely with other engineering teams to identify and resolve network issues.
Monitor network performance and take preventative measures to ensure optimal uptime and performance.
Stay updated with the latest technologies and trends in core networking and routing.
Requirements
Proven experience as a Core Network Engineer or have worked in a similar role within a data centre environment.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Education and Experience
Degree in Information and Communication Technology (ICT) with a focus on networking or a related field.
